These policies ensure we can provide the highest quality programming within a respectful, body-positive environment that allows every student to explore their most radiant self freely and safely. By accessing our website and enrolling in our services, you agree to abide by these terms as an essential part of joining our vibrant Sparkleforce community.

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the SparkleForce Academy of Burlesque! By accessing this website and utilising our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Registration & Enrolment

All students must complete our online registration process to officially enrol in any programs, workshops or private engagements.

 This includes submitting a signed liability waiver and agreeing to our policies. Registration fees and tuition must be paid in full prior to attending any classes or events unless a payment plan has been approved.

Class Policies

Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared for each class session. Our dress code requires appropriate dancewear or activewear that allows for unrestricted movement. Aromatic food, perfume, gum, and street shoes are prohibited in our studios.

 We cultivate an environment of mutual respect, body positivity and zero tolerance for discrimination.

Disruptive, inappropriate or unsafe conduct may result in dismissal without refund. 

 All class schedules and instructor assignments are subject to change at the discretion of the Academy. We reserve the right to cancel any sessions due to insufficient enrolment and offer class credit or a refund. 

Waiver of Liability

Our comprehensive Release and Waiver of Liability must be accepted during registration. Students participate in all class activities at their own risk and agree to not hold the SparkleForce Academy of Burlesque, instructors, staff, or venue responsible for any injuries sustained.

Refund Policy 

For any program cancellations initiated by the student after the second class, we provide the following refund schedule based on the program cost:

– Within 7 days = 75% refund

– Within 14 days = 50% refund

– After 14 days = 0% refund. 

All refund requests must be made in writing and are subject to a 10% processing fee.

Studio credit expirations, extensions and other making good policies are at the sole discretion of the Academy. No refunds are provided for attended classes or showcases.

Intellectual Property

All choreography, music, routines, staging and other artistic works created and provided by the SparkleForce Academy of Burlesque and its instructors are protected intellectual property.

 Students may not replicate, distribute or perform routines without explicit written consent.

Photo/Video Release

SparkleForce Academy of Burlesque reserves the right to photograph and record any classes, events or performances for promotional use across our online channels, advertising and educational purposes.

This grants the rights to utilise your name, image and likeness in any form.

SparkleForce Academy of Burlesque is released from any claims for damage, loss or inconvenience if the website or services are unavailable for any reason.
