Intentions and Expectations

Intension:

At SparkleForce Academy of Burlesque, our mission is to activate and spark a profound transformation in how individuals experience their bodies and embody their most radiant selves.

We believe that every person possesses an innate capacity for confidence, sensuality, and self-love – qualities that are too often dimmed by societal conditioning and limiting beliefs.

Through our pioneering fusion of burlesque artistry, neuroscience principles, and holistic healing modalities, we guide students on a journey of unlocking their authentic power and reclaiming their right to take up space with unapologetic presence.

Two hands holding a heart

Whether you’re seeking to command the stage with magnetic allure or simply yearning to feel at home in your own skin, SparkleForce provides the tools and teachings to awaken the most empowered, self-assured version of yourself.

Welcome to a revolutionary approach to body liberation and radical self-acceptance.

Expectations:

If you are part of SparkleForce as a instructor, supplier or student we have a set of expected behaviours that we live by, and we invite you to adopt these #HighPerformingTeams values, this means:

  • Ideas are shared freely at SparkleForce; contribution, collaboration, innovation, and cooperation thrive.
  • Acknowledgement of source information happens:  sharing where the idea came from if you saw it on the internet, on YouTube or learnt it at the Academy.
  • People like each other and show care and concern for one another, even volunteering to pitch in when others need assistance, without needing to be asked.
  • People volunteer to take on new assignments or be involved in projects, regularly putting in extra effort to achieve personal and organisational goals.
  • There are few surprises. People keep each other up to date and informed. Regular feedback and dialogue is commonplace.
  • People do great because they enjoy what they do, have pride in their work, and are self-engaged.
  • Victim thinking, finger-pointing, and negative storytelling are infrequent.
  • People own their mistakes or errors and quickly correct them without prompting.
  • Healthy conflict, grounded with best-of-self behaviors like integrity, ethics, and big-team thinking prevails.
  • Best performers stay while others self-select; the performance bar is high and personal accountability is a norm.
  • Deadlines are regularly met; people can count on each other to keep their commitments or be informed something needs to shift.
