Crystal has an eclectic background, kind of like a three dimensional sparkly jigsaw puzzle that makes her the delicious person she is.
She has media, health and safety, IT qualifications, and a Bachelor of Arts.

Crystal started in the industry in Wellington in 2010 with Miss La Belle’s House of Burlesque where she took her first course in the art of tease. After graduating she went on to assist Miss La Belle teach her course, utilised her 20 years of event management experience to assist with the graduation show.
The rush of event management lead Crystal on to set up her own event management company Glitterarti Events. Where she produces local and national burlesque shows.
As she grew in confidence herself and found her feet her social media networks grew and the frequency of the status’ in her newsfeed about the Burlesque Hall of Fame (BHOF) weekender BHOF (said B hoff) is a reunion weekend in Las Vegas each June where current tourers, burlesque performers and Legends of Burlesque get together to learn, celebrate and reconnect.
Crystal had the opportunity to attend her first BHOF in 2015 and hasn’t looked back. She has created documentaries for radio that cover different aspects of BHOF. In 2017 Crystal became the first New Zealander to assist with official media and communications of the Burlesque Hall of Fame weekender.
Finally, her passion for teaching lead Crystal to attend Burlycon in Seattle which has played a major part in nurturing everything Crystal needed to grow and develop as a Performer, MC and Producer.
BurlyCon is an annual Burlesque Educational convention that provides educational offerings, professional growth and in-person social networking for the Burlesque Community
After attending her second Burlycon, Crystal knew it was time to set up Sparkleforce. Crystal is the only burlesque teacher in New Zealand who attends Burlycon each year as part of her continuing development.
